My passion for architecture + design is rooted in one simple idea: I believe that good design makes people’s lives better.
I am committed to working with my clients to help ensure that their spaces reflect who they are and how they want to live. I enjoy every step of the design process, from creating design drawings to selecting beautiful finishes, and I strive to exceed my clients’ expectations at every step.
My corporate and creative career spans more than two decades and includes architecture + design, marketing + communications, and pro bono advocacy work. This blend of experiences allows me to service the full range of client needs, including effective project management, and to design both commercial and residential spaces that exude the passions of their inhabitants.
When I walk into any space — whether it be a home, a restaurant, an office, or even a hospital — I immediately start assessing it and considering ideas. My love for design is the lens through which I experience the world, and I am constantly asking questions to learn how design can support how we want to live.
Born in the US and having lived abroad during my childhood, I now reside in Washington DC with my husband and senior dog, Bailey. When not working on designs for my clients, I enjoy volunteering in the community, focusing on the development of women and the promotion of animal rescue; experimenting in the kitchen; and adding to my list of states visited (current count: 35).
I hold a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture + Design from The George Washington University, attending on fellowship and receiving the prestigious Studio Award upon degree conferral. I am committed to supporting the development of future designers and underwrite the Design Research Grants for graduate and undergraduate students at the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design within The George Washington University.
